These awards recognize hospitals that excel in their ability to gain insight about their patients, employees, physicians, and community through research and use that information to build excellence within their organization. These awards recognize our customers that have executed initiatives within their respective hospitals that have led to improved outcomes, including, but not limited to, process improvements (e.g. time savings, cost savings, streamlined onboarding, performance appraisal innovations, etc.) or quality improvements (e.g. improved patient outcomes, improved workforce competencies, improved resuscitation rates, improved talent management, etc.).
HealthStream created the Patricia E. Lane Award in 2009, to recognize healthcare education professionals who are passionately dedicated to leadership and innovation in healthcare education. It honors the memory of Patricia E. Lane, a HealthStream System Administrator and HealthStream User Group leader from Harrisonburg, Virginia, who lost her life in December 2009. Virginia touched the lives of patients and co-workers, and many healthcare organizations across the state of Virginia benefited from her expertise, sage advice, and leadership.
