Heartcode Success Manager/Order Fulfillment Specialist 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
This position works under the supervision of the Director of Professional Services in Nashville and performs one-time implementation tasks such as course publishing, connect publishing, HD offers, Easy Scan activation etc. This position will also supervise team members. HeartCode publishing will comprise 50% of the responsibilities and will include all end to end task to complete HeartCode implementation, gathering instruction information, course publishing, card processing, manikin set-up and is expected to own the customer experience and are accountable for high customer satisfaction during all phases of the implementation. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, one or two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination. Candidates should also possess good verbal and written communication, excellent customer service skills, ability to read, analyze and interpret basic excel and tab delimited data files, respond to technical and business related inquiries from customers and prospects, with some project management experience required.
SQL Server Report Writer 
Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Summary:
The position works under the guidance and supervision of the VP of Software Engineering in Franklin, TN to develop and maintain operational and client reporting offered to both internal and external clients of HealthStream Research. Position will join small internal development team to complete/maintain/enhance a new BI solution and be involved in the deployment of new reports and capabilities to customers. Requires two+ years experiences with MS SQL Server in Data mart/ Data warehouse, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), reporting in SSRS, fluent in constructing SQL stored procedures, view and functions, and able to turn ideas into creative & statistically sound reporting solutions. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot and resolve report quality and performance issues, communicate clearly and effectively, comfortable in front of business users and clients, be able to explain technical issues to non-technical people, work independently as well as collaboratively, and be on-call on a rotating basis.
Developer 
Location: Laurel, Maryland
Summary:
The Developer works under the guidance and supervision of the Development Team Lead in Laurel to develop and maintain software products offered to both internal and external clients of HealthStream Research.
Job involves developing applications and processes as outlined, developing quality, defect-free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards, defines problems, collects data, and troubleshoots and maintains legacy applications utilizing ASP front-end and Oracle back-end technologies.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer Science or similar field preferred or Associates with 3-5 years experience in Computer Science. Needs minimum 2-3 years experience with two or more of the following: ASP.NET, Visual Basic.NET, C#, Windows/Web Services. Applicants also need 2+ years database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server, 2+ years experience with developing web applicants preferred as well as SPSS/Statistical experience another plus.
Data Architect 
Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Summary:
This position works works under guidance and supervision of VP, Software Engineering to be the expert for data warehouses which support our Business Intelligence (BI) platform as well a resource for all operational SQL Server databases for HealthStream’s Research division. Education and training of existing developers on data warehousing operations and design is required. Maintain data integrity and security for all warehouses and databases. Assure acceptable performance of warehouse and database portion of the BI platform and other databases maintained by HealthStream Research.
Candidate should possess a 4 year degree in Computer science, information systems engineering or related field with a Masters degree a plus. Also should have at least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2005) with 3 years spent in Data Warehousing efforts. Experience with the following required: Transact-SQL Server, Integration Services (SSIS) log shipping, data warehousing, ETL, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), data cube design and implementation. Fluent with MDX language. Investigate and resolve data issues as needed and perform deployments in production environment as needed.
Product Manager 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
Located in Nashville supporting the Research Division, this position plans, organizes and controls an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in related area with a Master’s degree preferred. Product management experience required, preferably information-based products delivered via ASP model. Healthcare industry experience required with survey or market research experience a plus.
Job duties include but are not limited to: leading overall product portfolio strategy, research and development requirements, development and service delivery coordination, coordinating operational aspects of service development, developing marketing, sales, services and financial plans, maintaining a prioritized list of customer and market requirements, tracking and reporting on profitability of products, and conducting negotiations with partners.
