Client Executive 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
The Client Executive is a senior level position within HealthStream with primary responsibility for leading account management and development activities for four clients determined to be “strategic accounts.” In this role, the Client Executive seeks to align learning with clinical and business objectives and to increase HealthStream revenues in the account. The Client Executive achieves these goals by positioning HealthStream as an “education partner,” by designing consultative solutions with measurable outcomes based on identified needs, and by assisting in the development of an enterprise learning strategy that aligns learning investments with clinical and business objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Sales Management and Account Management
- Develop an annual account plan for assigned accounts based on the strategic needs of these important customers; monitor adherence to plan, provide regular updates, and resolve deviations
- Achieve sales targets, typically $1 to $2 million per year (depending on account and approved account plan), and maintain a qualified pipeline of approximately $5 to $10 million.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities and forecast results.
- Provide a strategic framework for clients to serve as an “education partner” and “trusted advisor” with proactive, consultative services such as customized balanced scorecards, monthly planning sessions, quarterly strategy sessions, participation on learning councils, and best practice and benchmarking.
Align Learning with Clinical & Business Objectives to Drive Business Development and Improve Outcomes
- Design customized Learning for Impact™ solutions to achieve outcomes that support clinical objectives by utilizing a consultative approach to assess needs, design and deploy solutions, and evaluate results.
- Provide assistance to help clients develop an enterprise learning strategy that links learning to clinical and business initiatives, translates learning objectives into quantifiable goals, addresses governance issues, utilizes job-specific competencies to drive curriculum design, redesigns learning operations, and creates an accompanying technology roadmap.
- Maintains a fluent understanding of important client and industry-wide initiatives and trends, ensuring that HealthStream is adding value by aligning our solutions and capabilities with those initiatives (takes an active role in crafting solutions via HealthStream's offerings).
- Proactively uncover opportunities for HealthStream to expand its role within assigned accounts by developing an understanding of clinical transformation efforts, clinical IT implementation plans, quality improvement initiatives, patient education projects, and recruiting and retention initiatives, among others.
Internal Teamwork and Collaboration
- Works with Customer Support to ensure that the right resources are dedicated to key accounts and satisfaction is attained.
- Serve as a leader of the Strategic Accounts organization within HealthStream by contributing to organizational wide planning efforts, prioritization of product development efforts, alliance discussions, hiring plans, and related efforts.
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Systems and other teams to ensure a concerted and coordinated effort by HealthStream. Also serves as the "voice of the customer" for these important accounts to serve as client advocate, but also to help prioritize.

Production Team Coordinator 
Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Summary: Full-time position performing various functions including data entry, word processing, printing & compiling surveys, and use of various equipment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Print, fold, and compile surveys using required equipment.
- Open, process, and sort incoming mail and packages.
- Enter returned surveys by scanner or data entry; Teleform verification.
- When required by methodology, make follow-up phone calls to non-respondents.
- Process start-up packets and lists by entering/importing information into appropriate database.
- Run and check reports and verbatims when scheduled.
- Assist the Operations Manager with various tasks as needed.
- Know and understand how to operate machinery in Operations Department.
- Monitor equipment for maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
- Assist in keeping department clean and organized.
- Detailed tracking of time spent on each task by recording details in daily hours log.
- Assist with distributing incoming faxes and maintaining fax machine.
- Deliver reports and other items when needed.
- Serve as backup to perform all front desk duties such as answer incoming calls, transfer calls, take detailed messages, greet incoming guests, sign for and deliver incoming packages, etc.
Experience and Education:

Data Warehouse Architect
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary
Work under guidance and supervision of Director of Product Architecture to be the expert for product data warehouses, as well as a member of the support team for operational SQL Server databases. Education and training of existing DBAs on data warehousing operations and design is required. Maintain data integrity and security for all HealthStream warehouses and databases. Assure acceptable performance of warehouse and database portion of Healthcare Learning Center and any other products offered by HealthStream.
Education and Experience :
- 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (required)
- Masters’ degree a plus
- At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (2000 and 2005), of which 3 years minimum are spent in Data Warehousing efforts.
- Demonstrated experience with all of the following required: Transact-SQL, data modeling, DTS, SSIS, log shipping, data warehousing, ETL, Analysis Services, data cube design and implementation, generation and maintenance, MDX.
- Experience as a database administrator including on-call duties required
- Experience with tuning query performance, examining execution plans, using Profiler traces and other performance diagnostic tools
- Experience with the following preferred: transactional replication, Notification Services, Reporting Services, Analytical tools such as ProClarity or Cognos.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Operational
- Install SQL Server in production, development and quality assurance environments.
- Tune SQL Server configuration settings, queries, physical and logical database design.
- Install and manage Analysis Services.
- Be on call 24x7 on a weekly rotating basis and troubleshoot database issues individually and through a team effort.
- Mentor and train other DBA staff on the design and maintenance of good warehouse repositories, using best-practice procedures.
- Investigate and resolve data issues as needed.
- Must be methodical and able to establish priorities.
- Must be able to recognize confidential data issues and maintain this confidentiality.
- Assist in Implementing SQL Server high-availability solutions including clustering, replication and log shipping

Operations Specialist 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary
The Operations Specialist provides advanced technical support to HealthStream's provider (e.g. acute care hospital) customers. The Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and handling the operational aspects of the client relationship for HealthStream's provider accounts. The Operations Specialist focuses on ensuring high customer satisfaction and optimal utilization of HealthStream’s platform, products and services.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Performs advanced system support for inquiries escalated from Customer Care – includes resolution & follow up with customer (Maintain awareness of open service issues).
- Shares successful or “best” practices with customers.
- Serves as the customer's liaison for projects that are being handled by other HealthStream departments (e.g. Systems development, database administrators, etc.).
- Assists with acquisitions and coordination of related issues.
- Conducts routine calls with the customer to review outstanding issues and share status updates.
- Assists customers with identifying ways in which HealthStream's products can be used to most effectively meet an education and training need.
- Handles Tier 2 overflow calls from Customer Service as needed.
Experience & Education:
- One to three years of experience (1) in a HealthStream customer's facility as a HealthStream system administrator (beneficial to have trained other system administrators) or (2) at HealthStream in a position that has required extensive knowledge of the HealthStream Learning Center and other HealthStream products (customer-facing role strongly beneficial) or (3) in a learning management system (LMS) administrator or other relevant role. Heatlhcare industry experience highly desireable.
Other Skills and Requirements:

The Senior Operations Specialist provides advanced technical support to
HealthStream's largest and most valued provider (e.g. acute care hospital)
and supplier (e.g. medical device manufacturer) customers. In addition,
the Senior Operations Specialist works closely with Relationship Management
to help ensure high customer satisfaction and optimal utilization of HealthStream’s
platform, products and services.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Performs advanced system support escalated from Customer Care – includes
resolution & follow up with customer (Maintain awareness of open service
issues).
- Shares successful or “best” practices with customers.
- Works with Relationship Management to develop effective product roll-out
plans for customers.
- Send import results/exception files to customers post-implementation.
- Post-implementation, responsible for adding/editing customer System
Admins.
- Handles Tier 2 overflow calls from Customer Service as needed.
Other Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, plus three to five years of experience either (1)

with responsibility for training other system administrators a plus;

Trainer
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary
The Trainer/Technical Writer will be responsible for engaging delivery of live and web-based training to HealthStream customers, effectively demonstrating all product offerings and instructing customers in basic, advanced and best practices product applications to maximize customer competence.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective live and web-based product training
- Participate in the development and ongoing review and update of traning curricula, supplemental training tools and student materials.
- Collaborate with other members of the training team to meet the needs of HealthStream customers. Participate in evaluation of training curricula, materials and methods of delivery as well as exploration of new opportunities to enhance customer learning and development
- Collaborate with other members of the training team to evaluate the effectiveness of training efforts using a variety of methodologies for multi-phasic data capture and analysis
- Support the goals of the Client Services department
- Assist as directed, with other HealthStream projects and initiatives for which training and/or technical writing are a component
- Travel, as requested, to customer locations or other HealthStream offices to provide onsite training
Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and three to five years of relevant training experience with proven ability to deliver training in an engaging and effective manner. Experience either in a HealthStream customer facility as a HealthStream system administrator (beneficial to have trained other system administrators) or at HealthStream in a position that has required extensive knowledge of the LealthStream Learning Center and other HealthStream products highly desirable. Experience in technical training within a healthcare environment would be beneficial.
Additional Requirements:
- To perform this job successfully, the Trainer/ Technical Writer must be able to effectively deliver a variety of training activities that provide customers with the knowledge to practically apply HealthStream's products in their work environments. He/she must also possess excellent writing skills and be able to effectively articulate information to guide customers in using HealthStream products. The training team will support the Sr. Relationship Managers in their efforts to drive utilization of HealthStream's solutions by making certain that their customers are sufficently trained on the use of these solutions.
- Organized, multi-task oriented; works with a sense of urgency and a desire for excellence. High degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish a high level of credibility both internal and external to the organization. Able to work independently, and to effectively utilize technology to communicate with supervisor and other team members.
- Knowledge of instructional design, technical writing, principles of adult learning and evaluation of training effectiveness. Above average to excellent PC skills including use of all MS Office software, web-conferencing applications and the ability to effectively deliver training while navigating students through a live Internet site. Proficiency in the use of Robo-Demo, Robo-Help and Contribute or similar software programs required.

Operations Manager 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the client relationship to ensure high customer satisfaction and optimal utilization of HealthStream’s platform, products and services. As appropriate, the Operations Manager is also responsible for assisting with account renewal efforts.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Performs advanced system support escalated from Customer Care and includes resolution and follow up with customer. (Maintain awareness of open service issues.)
- Serves as the customer’s advocate within the HealthStream operating environment by championing their ideas, issues, and needs.
- Works closely with VP of Strategic Account Management and/or Client Executives to strengthen the client relationship and ensure a coordinated communication flow.
- Proactively communicates with customers about status of initiatives, outstanding tasks/issues, system enhancements, new functionality, new products, defect resolutions, etc.
- Focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimal utilization of HealthStream’s platform, products and services.
- Shares successful or “best” practices with customers.
- Develops and executes effective roll-out plans for the HealthStream Learning Center (i.e. “Practical Application Guides”).
- As appropriate, assists with renewal activity associated with assigned customer accounts (e.g. notification, term negotiation, etc.).
Experience & Education:
- Three - five years of account management experience overseeing accounts for an organization whose products/services are dependent on close, ongoing relationships. Alternatively, experience (1) in the education/training or human resource/organizational development department at a provider organization (e.g. acute care hospital), (2) in a product management/marketing division of a supplier organization (e.g. medical device manufacturer), or (3) at HealthStream in a position that has required extensive knowledge of the HealthStream Learning Center and other HealthStream products (customer-facing role strongly beneficial). Heatlhcare industry experience highly desireable.

Customer Initiatives Specialist 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary
Responsible for defining, monitoring, communicating and tracking all aspects of the customer experience through our customer initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Works in coordination with Marketing team to create and assemble the HealthStream customer conference curriculum
- Designs and monitors performance metrics for the customer initiatives that assess not only customer satisfaction with the initiatives but also their effectiveness and that allow HealthStream to begin to draw correlations between participation in HealthStream initiatives and overall customer satisfaction with HealthStream
- Creates the support and product materials for HealthStream user groups
- Develops, implements, and monitors programs that are designed to strengthen the ties between HealthStream's customers
Experience & Education:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and/or a combination a minimum of 5 years work experience with 2 year’s previous experience in program management, project management, and/or meeting management with demonstrated success launching and managing customer initiatives. Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Additional Requirements :
- Must be able to demonstrate a history of effectively managing projects to a successful outcome. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) – experience presenting to large groups. Must be detail-oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, and organization skills. Must be self-motivated, independent, and able operate with minimal supervision. Ability to drive change and influence behavior among a cross-section of internal and external customers.
