Associate Product Manager 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
Performs under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Product Manager in Nashville, TN. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for product planning and product marketing of a variety of HealthStream’s platform products, including the Insight into Action on-line Community, HealthStream Live, Virtual class education, Easy Scan and HealthStream Connect platforms. The Associate Product Manager will also assist the Senior Product Manager with the marketing and management of the HealthStream Authoring Center and the HealthStream Learning Center. Duties include managing products throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working with the Senior Product Manager to define product visions. Duties also include working with sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met and that the product and marketing efforts support overall strategy and goals. Desired skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Minimum of three years experience in marketing, product development or financial analysis. Preferred industries are software or healthcare services.
- Ability to work with little supervision from general goals established by the Senior Product Manager.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree preferred.

Senior Quality Analyst 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
Provides Quality Assurance expertise across the entire software development lifecycle and performs software testing function. - Assists in translating business needs and use cases into functional, technical, design, system and test requirements.Converts product requirements into test cases.Generates and communicates test plansExecutes various types of tests – black box functional, performance, stress/load, acceptance, integration, regression, etc Designs, documents, and executes manual and automated functional test scripts Works with team members to log, verify, track and resolve product issues and defects Prepares and presents product and quality reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing test results Monitors software development processes to identify weaknesses and improvement strategies.Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:

Business Analyst 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
The Business Analyst position will be based in our corporate Nashville home office and core responsibilities will be to foster a collaborative environment where the real business needs of the customers are understood and solutions are generated to satisfy those business needs. The Ideal candidate will lead and facilitate open-ended requirements discussions with a variety of audiences: one-on-one interviews, small group discussions, collaborative workshops, etc. to elicit/uncover requirements, and builds consensus amongst diverse team members in light of differing or competing viewpoints. Ina strategist role, partners with business owners/product owners to shape the overall vision and scope of products. In Architect/Designer role, creates appropriate diagrams, models, and prototypes to communicate business concepts and workflows. In Tactical Implementer role, produces accurate requirements artifacts that are appropriate and the correct level of detail for various audiences, team compositions, and projects and works with the team to continuously refine and update requirements artifacts and ensure requirements repositories are current and accurate throughout project lifecycle. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:

College degree preferred; 3 years of Business Analyst experience; At least 5 years of IT experience, preferably on a software development team; Understanding and familiarity of project management principles; Prior experience with Agile principles is a plus; Proficient with a variety of Microsoft tools required (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.); Prior experience with graphic design tools is highly recommended (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.); Prior experience with prototyping software (Blueprint, iRise, etc.) is a plus.

Client Executive 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
The Client Executive (CE) is a senior level position within HealthStream with primary responsibility for cross selling and up selling additional HealthStream services for assigned, innovative healthcare systems to include all HealthStream Research solutions, courseware to accelerate improvement efforts, and other solutions to existing HealthStream Research clients. The CE will be responsible for attaining sales goals, establishing a “trusted advisor relationship,” facilitating budget planning sessions, handling annual account reviews, and retaining existing client revenue through developing outstanding relationships across all levels of the organization. The CE will develop additional cross selling and up selling opportunities in order to build a sustainable and growing sales funnel capable of consistently achieving sales goals. This individual will also be responsible for achieving consistent client retention and annual client satisfaction goals. Finally, the CE will effectively serve as a member of HealthStream’s integrated service delivery team. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and Master’s degree (preferred). A minimum of three years experience selling patient, employee, physician, and community measurement solutions and consulting services to healthcare clients, preferably to healthcare systems.
- Proven success in up-selling and cross-selling to assigned accounts in the healthcare industry, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven success with leading renewal efforts in competitive situations in the healthcare industry, including leading proposal teams and meeting and exceeding renewals target targets; understanding of competitive dynamics in industry a plus.
- Requires a high attention to detail with regards to lead tracking, pricing, and account profiles in CRM system; experience with SalesForce.com preferred.
- Polished executive-presence and strong skills developing and delivering executive-level presentations.
- Successful history of managing complex strategic accounts; experience with strategic accounts methodologies a plus.
- Track record of performance in highly competitive environments.
- Enthusiasm and initiative, and ability to operate independently with limited oversight.
- This position requires 40-60% travel in order to develop exceptionally strong relationships with existing client executives, to include C-level, Director and Departmental levels.
Associate Systems Developer 
Location: Nashville, TN
Summary:
The position works with the Systems group to understand internal and external customer needs, identify requirements, and create solutions. It also works closely with Quality Analysis and project team members on various phases of each project. The right person will have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions then develop quality, defect free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Experience with two or more of the following: Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or greater, ASP.Net, SQL, and C#.
- Experience with object-oriented software design.
- Web application development experience preferred.
- Exposure to agile development practices preferred.
Senior Systems Developer 
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Summary:
Under direction of the Vice President of Development, designs, develops, and maintains the software products offered by HealthStream, leading project development efforts while training development staff in technology best practices and product offerings.Works with Systems group to understand internal and external customer needs, understanding requirements, and effectively communicating product and technology decisions. Design and estimate effort of new features or sub-systems from business concept to detailed technical design. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions then develop quality, defect free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Minimum 4 years experience with the following: Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or greater, ASP.Net and C#.
- 4+ years database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field preferred.
- 4+ years experience with highly available Web applications preferred.

SQL Report Writer 
Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Summary:
Works under the guidance and supervision of the VP of Software Engineering in Franklin to develop and maintain operational & client reporting offered to both internal and external clients of HealthStream Research. Position will join small internal development team to complete/maintain/enhance a new BI solution and be involved in the deployment of new reports and capabilities to customers. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Two+ years experiences with MS SQL Server in Data mart/ Data warehouse, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), reporting in SSRS, fluent in constructing SQL stored procedures, view and functions, and able to turn ideas into creative & statistically sound reporting solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve report quality and performance issues, communicate clearly and effectively, be comfortable in front of business users and clients, be able to explain technical issues to non-technical people, work independently as well as collaboratively, and be on-call on a rotating basis.
CATI Programmer 
Location: Laurel, Maryland
Summary:
Works under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Data Management in Laurel, MD, the CATI Programmer is primarily responsible for the development, debugging, and implementation of electronic surveys for the CATI programming methodology. The incumbent will be responsible for programming and testing small to large-scale market research surveys in a Windows environment. Specifically, the position will work closely with the programming department lead to implement processes, review/critique survey questionnaires and formulate recommendations to ensure efficient programming and optimal data layout, and incorporate questionnaire changes in an accurate and timely manner. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- AA degree or college work in appropriate field and 1-2 years professional related experience.
- Ability to perform all programming functions for any project assigned, regardless of complexity, resulting in accurate data collection.
- The candidate should place high regard on positive work ethic, teamwork, client service and execution of established processes.
- The CATI Programmer will be expected to respond effectively and positively to the continuous changes and challenges associated with the implementation and development of the CATI methodology segment within the Voxco software package.
IC (Call Center) Supervisor 
Location: Laurel, Maryland
Summary:
Working under the guidance and supervision of the Call Center Director, the Interviewing Center Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations and achievement of results within our Telephone Interviewing Center, including but not limited to overall supervision of staff: hiring, training, scheduling and providing performance feedback through formal and informal means. Additionally, the Supervisor works closely with other departments to ensure that market research projects are completed with accuracy and on time. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- High School Diploma; college degree preferred.
- 3-5 years supervisory experience, in a data collection/call center environment.
- Requires the ability to work evening shifts and weekends.
- Ability to motivate employees, handle employee relations issues, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ability to analyze/solve problems and make sound decisions.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet.
- Familiarity with CATI, Pronto, VOXCO a plus.
Receptionist / HR Assistant 
Location: Laurel, Maryland
Summary:
Works under the guidance and supervision of the HR Manager in Laurel, MD. Duties include receptionist, general clerical and project based work. Answers multi-line telephone system for the purpose of directing calls to appropriate parties, screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages, meet and greets public, vendors, announces visitor(s) to appropriate personnel, escorting/directing them to appropriate personnel. Uses Company paging system to make announcements and page employees; supports HR Manager and HR department with administrative tasks. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Must project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
- Strong receptionist experience (1-2 years).
- Prior HR Administrative experience preferred (1-2 years).
- Ability to manage the front desk, directives from staff and multiple priorities.
- Ability to type 50 wpm.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required and knowledge of telephone protocol.
