HeartCode Training Specialist 
Location: Nashville, TN
Summary:
The HeartCode Training Specialist provides initial training for HealthStream’s HeartCode customers, as well as ongoing training and consultative support, to ensure effective use of all HeartCode products. The HeartCode Training Specialist also provides sales support as needed by participating in pre-contract HeartCode pilots, and HeartCode e-learning workshops. The HeartCode Training Specialist supports the HealthStream/Laerdal partnership through participation in collaborative events and training opportunities. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Training, Education, Healthcare or related discipline preferred.
- At least one year of experience teaching adults, with documented success.
- Sound grasp of adult learning principles.
- Knowledge of AHA BLS and ACLS requirements and guidelines required.
- Clinical experience required.
- Software application training experience a plus.
- Experienced BLS/ACLS instructor, especially using HeartCode products, highly desired.
- Prior experience as a HealthStream Learning Center administrator a plus.
Marketing Coordinator- Talent Management 
Location: Nashville, TN
Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator (MC-TM) is a key member of the marketing team who plays a lead role in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for HealthStream’s talent management products and services, working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, as well as with both Product Management and Sales teams. The MC-TM will be HIGHLY skilled in using all Marketing tools, including WebEx, ActOn, CRM software such as Salesforce.com and other web based tools. They will also set up webinars and fulfill any follow-up that results, aid in nurturing leads, and assigning leads that are sales-ready. They will report results of email campaigns and webinars on a weekly basis The candidate should place high regard on positive work ethic, teamwork, client service and execution of established processes. The candidate also must possess exceptional attention to detail. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree with 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Energetic self-starter who has excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects (proven record).

Senior Data Analyst 
Location: Laurel, MD
Summary:
The Data Analyst performs a wide variety of data processing functions in a deadline driven environment, under the supervision of the Director of Data Management. The candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail while also placing high regard on positive work ethic, teamwork client service and execution of established processes. Will coordinate with clients as well as colleagues regarding file specification, expectation and survey outcomes. Will be responsible for accurate and thorough completion of special requests and data manipulation as needed as well as generating cross tabs for various study types The candidate should place high regard on positive work ethic, teamwork, client service and execution of established processes. The candidate also must possess exceptional attention to detail. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 1-2 years professional experience with programming, data analysis or related work.
- Experience in applied research or survey design a plus.
- MUST have very strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel) and other related software. Prefer knowledge of Cross Tab, Statistics and Call Center Software.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills are required.
Client Executive 
Location: Nashville, TN
Summary:
This is a Senior level position with primary responsibility for cross selling and up selling additional HealthStream services for assigned innovative healthcare systems to include all HealthStream Research solutions, courseware, and other solutions to existing HealthStream existing clients. The CE is responsible for sales goals, budget planning sessions, annual account reviews and retaining existing client revenue through developing outstanding relationships at all organizational levels, especially within the executive suite. The CE will develop additional opportunities in order to build a sustainable and growing sales funnel to achieve sales goals, and serve as a member of HealthStream’s integrated service delivery team. The CE will provide innovative account management and client retention, by understanding client and industry-wide initiatives and trends. The CE will accelerate account growth and value for clients, develop annual account plan, achieve sales targets of $1-$2 million per year, maintaining a pipeline of $5 -$10 million. Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- CE will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related area (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience selling solutions and consulting services to healthcare clients/system.
- Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets, renewal efforts.
- 40-60% travel.
Customer Service Specialist 
Location: Nashville, TN
Summary:
This position will answer incoming customer service calls and e-mails. Will escalate advanced customer inquiries or system administrator issues to the operations teams as appropriate. Will follow up with customers on open Customer Service calls and defects until closed, will accurately document all details of each support case using our CRM program. To perform this job successfully, the Customer Service Specialist must work to address customers’ needs and efficiently resolve customer issues to ensure their satisfaction with HealthStream’s platform, products and support. The Customer Service Specialist must have (or be able to rapidly acquire) a strong working knowledge of HealthStream’s products (e.g. the HealthStream Learning Center, HeartCode). Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- Must have high school diploma or GED – Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- MUST have 3 -4 years of tier two level, technical troubleshooting customer service experience in a call center environment.
- Highly customer-driven, motivated, organized, ability to multi-task, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have experience in software and hardware support within a fast paced environment.
- Healthcare industry experience highly desirable.
Senior Quality Analyst (Temporary Contract) 
Location: Nashville, TN
Summary:
Provides Quality Assurance expertise across the entire software development lifecycle and performs software testing function. - Assists in translating business needs and use cases into functional, technical, design, system and test requirements.Converts product requirements into test cases.Generates and communicates test plansExecutes various types of tests – black box functional, performance, stress/load, acceptance, integration, regression, etc Designs, documents, and executes manual and automated functional test scripts Works with team members to log, verify, track and resolve product issues and defects Prepares and presents product and quality reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing test results Monitors software development processes to identify weaknesses and improvement strategies.Required skills and experience includes but is not limited to:
- BS or BA in Computer Science, or MIS. 2-3 years related SQA experience.
- Two years experience creating and executing manual/automated test scripts using HP products.
- Experience installing, configuring, and operating a multi-tier web based system in a testing environment.
- One year experience using defect tracking tools. Familiarity with requirements management tools.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities, understand technical concepts and apply QA methods, as well as handle challenging situations with tact, understanding, and objectivity.
- Must have knowledge of software development life cycle and QA processes, programming, and scripting languages.
- Experience in the following preferred: HP Quality Center 10, QTP 10, LoadRunner, MSSQL Server.
- Experience interacting with end users, developers, project management in relation to software development projects.
- Experience in a team environment.

Marketing Intern- Search Engine Optimizer (Unpaid) 
Location: Nashville, TN
Summary:
The Search Engine Optimizer(SEO) intern will assist in editing the contents and executing/analyzing the digital marketing initiatives related to the HealthStream website in an effort to improve the volume and quality of traffic to the site. Upon completion of the internship, the SEO intern will be able to: Identify web tools to track website traffic and rankings, identify and implement strategies for increasing website traffic through organic search listings without being blacklisted, research and solve content, link architecture and navigation issues, monitor organic search rankings to increase traffic and sales, analyze website strategies and translate qualitative data into recommendations and tactics for revising the strategies, and research keywords using Google, WordTracker, etc., and internal tools to properly tag various areas of the website including metadata, product descriptions, photography, video, etc. In order for the intern to receive maximum benefit from this internship experience, the following skills and experience are recommended:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage details, overall flexibility and efficient work habits.
- Knowledge of online marketing and search engine optimization, clear understanding of SEO, affiliate marketing and pay-per-click advertising,
- Proficient in the use of Internet Explorer and other browsers, Word, Outlook, Excel.
