Course Description: This case-based branching module allows learners to manage four different clinical scenarios based around the use of electronic monitoring instrumentation. The outcome of each case will be determined by the choices the learner makes, and each case is followed by a spotlight on a particular electronic instrument.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this online activity, the participant should be able to: - Identify the four types of electronic instrumentation used for fetal heart rate monitoring.
- Define appropriate clinical circumstances for the use of each instrument.
- Recognize how each instrument works and the type of data it provides.
- List the advantages and limitations of each instrument.
