Course Description:
This case-based branching module allows learners to manage four different clinical scenarios based around the application of ancillary assessments and interventions in labor. The outcome of each case will be determined by the choices the learner makes, and each case is followed by a spotlight related to the case.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this online activity, the participant should be able to:

• Identify nonreassuring fetal heart rate patterns that would be indications for ancillary methods of intrapartum fetal assessment.
• Identify ancillary methods of intrapartum fetal assessment for nonreassuring fetal heart rate patterns.
• Recognize clinical situations in which intrapartum interventions for nonreassuring fetal heart rate patterns may be appropriate.
• Evaluate the application of intrapartum interventions for nonreassuring fetal heart rate patterns.
