HCPro’s JCAHO Accreditation Survey library provides an overview of the JCAHO survey process and tools to prepare and train for the survey.

After two years of preparation, in 2004, JCAHO began using a new accreditation process called Shared Visions - New Pathways. The new process shifts the focus from survey preparation to continuous improvement of operational systems that directly affect the quality and safety of patient care.
