The AHA Guidelines are used to train millions of rescuers and are integrated into state and local emergency medical services protocols. They have been updated every five years through a complex process involving more than 250 international experts from the AHA and six other resuscitation councils that form the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation.

The latest AHA Guidelines are based on the most current and comprehensive review of resuscitation science, systems, protocols, and education.

HealthStream has a variety of resuscitation improvement programs and courseware that reflect the new Guidelines. Be sure to check back often for new announcements about HealthStream product updates!
