HealthStream’s phlebotomy program, created by Los Rios Community College District, is specifically designed for phlebotomists who have a minimum of 1,040 hours (six months full-time) experience.

Advanced Phlebotomy for Working Phlebotomists contains everything a working phlebotomist will need to know to pass a national phlebotomy certification examination required by the California Department of Health Services. This course was designed by working phlebotomists and educators and reflects the high quality that the healthcare industry has come to expect and receive from the California Community College system.

Advanced Phlebotomy for Working Phlebotomists was developed by Los Rios Community College District in Sacramento, California and was funded in part by the Los Rios Community College District and the Chancellor’s Office of the California Community Colleges via two entities:
