For nearly 30 years, Elisa has held positions in healthcare administration. Her progressively challenging servant leader positions in various healthcare organizations have ranged from Indian Health Service (Public Health Service) to Chief Operating Officer for the largest healthcare employer in San Diego. She served as Chief Operating Officer of Sharp Healthcare/Sharp Mission Park Medical Centers, where she was a model developer for the launch of the Sharp Experience, an aggressive customer-focused strategy that resulted in winning the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Award in 2007. Most recently, she assisted a Texas hospital on its journey to excellence.
Elisa enables hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country to achieve and sustain service and performance excellence. She teaches best practices, tools and tactics that enhance the patient experience and drive improvements across client’s scorecards. Her clients experience measureable and sustainable results in patient satisfaction, CAHPS performance, and employee engagement.
Elisa believes that health outcomes are improved when staff, physicians, and leaders collaborate to create an “Always” patient experience by thinking deliberately, acting decisively, and believing unwaveringly. Starting with her passion to help others, she has developed strategies and concepts that give people tools to push beyond their own limitations. Ultimately Elisa wants nothing less for her clients than to align their passions and purpose in every aspect of their lives.
