Relevant to COVID-19, these courses are designed to educate staff on current guidelines for infection control across various care settings, revenue cycle coding, ventilator safety, and precautions for airborne pathogens. We also offer best practices for using personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining proper hand hygiene to prevent a further coronavirus outbreak. In addition, we have created an easy to use reference guide of infographics and helpful links from the CDC website.

What training does HealthStream have that covers COVID-19?

HealthStream offers several courses on the topic of infection control. The specific titles included in the Coronavirus courseware bundle were selected to address what is currently known about the virus pathology and the signs and symptoms that healthcare workers will reference to identify and manage infections.
