HealthStream’s Opioid Training Curriculum is comprised of two courses promoting opioid addiction understanding. A general overview course is supplemented by a specialized second course designed for clinicians that includes CE credit.
The Opioid-Stewardship Program is an educational series built in partnership with the National Quality Forum (NQF) and based on their NQP Opioid Stewardship Playbook. This series goes beyond facts and figures about the opioid crisis to provide concrete strategies and implementation examples for healthcare organizations and clinicians.
Opioids: Tackling the Crisis Through Person-Centered Care bundle is designed to train clinicians and all staff on identifying opioid use disorder. These courses are designed to address the growing opioid crisis by providing all clinicians and staff with the tools they need to understand how good intentions to manage pain can evolve into devastatingly negative patient outcomes.
