Partnering for safer births & better outcomes

We are proud to partner with ACOG to enhance maternal outcomes, ensuring safer births, and ultimately saving lives. Our collaborative efforts provide freely distributed courses designed to mitigate morbidity and prevent harm before, during and after birth, with the overarching goal of improving care accessibility for all, with equity being a focal point in the creation of these bundles.

INDUSTRY QUOTE

"Pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period will always carry some degree of risk. But we, as a nation, must do all we can to minimize that risk and help ensure that mothers and their babies thrive throughout pregnancy and for the rest of their lives."

AIM Patient Safety Bundle

AIM Patient Safety Bundles (PSB) Learning Modules were co-developed with HealthStream to provide a structured way to improve the processes of care and patient outcomes. These learning modules consist of evidence-informed best practices developed by multidisciplinary experts, which address clinically specific conditions in pregnant and postpartum people.

An AIM patient safety bundle include actionable elements that can be adapted to a variety of facilities and resource levels.

These core bundles, which are supported by specific quality metrics and measures through the AIM Data Center, are the core building blocks of the AIM program’s efforts to address the leading known causes of preventable severe maternal morbidity and mortality in the United States. The following bundles are:
